ANKARA - Turkish state-run Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) reporter and cameraman who were in northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk to cover the developments, were detained, sources said on Friday.
The same sources stated that TRT reporter Ceyhun Cengiz and cameraman Haluk Yildirim, who went to Kirkuk early this week, were disturbed by people around them when they were filming the regions of this city where Kurds were overwhelmingly living.
Although Cengiz and Yildirim explained what actually had happened to the Kurdish police, they were taken to the police station and their passports were seized.
They were released after they were detained for a while at the police station.
