ISTANBUL (AA) - AC Milan soccer team of Italy and Liverpool of Britain arrived in Turkish metropolis of Istanbul on Monday for the European Champions League final to be played at the Ataturk Olympiad Stadium on Wednesday (May 25th).
Both teams will train for the game tomorrow.
AC Milan's coach Carlo Ancelotti and Liverpool's coach Rafael Benitez are expected to hold press conferences tomorrow (Tuesday).
Meanwhile, AC Milan's deputy chairman Adriano Galliani told reporters that they wanted to win the cup on Wednesday night.
Noting that 24 football players except Ambrosini were ready for the game, Galliani said, ''Istanbul is a historical city, and it was the capital of the Ottoman Empire. It can also be the capital of soccer.''
Commenting on Turkish soccer, Galliani said, ''it (Turkish soccer) is developing, and the national team (Turkish national team) is also developing itself.''
