ANKARA (AA) - Sri Lankan Minister of Trade & Commerce Jeyaraj Fernandopulle said, ''we plan to import 30-40 percent of our annual flour consumption from Turkey.''
     Fernandopulle met Turkish Agriculture & Rural Affairs Minister Sami Guclu on Monday.
     Fernandopulle thanked Turkey for its help after tsunami disaster in Sri Lanka, adding that they want to develop commercial relations with Turkey.
     Fernandopulle stressed that Sri Lanka imported 70,000 tones of flour from Turkey within 3-4 months, adding that their flour consumption is 700,000 tones annually. He said that they plan to import 30-40 percent of this amount from Turkey.
