Dutch Land Forces Commander Meets Turkish Land Forces Commander Gen. Buyukanit

ANKARA (AA) - Dutch Land Forces Commander Gen. Marcel Urlings met Turkish Land Forces Commander Gen. Yasar Buyukanit on Monday.
     Gen. Urlings told reporters that armed forces of both countries work closely in Afghanistan and Balkans. He added that Dutch forces are working under International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Kabul. He noted that there is a strong cooperation between armed forces of Turkey and the Netherlands.
     Gen. Buyukanit said, ''we, as land forces commanders of two ally countries, are working in close cooperation. In our meeting, we will asses what we can do to develop cooperation.''
     Gen. Urlings will depart from Turkey on May 25th.
