Ban On Onur Air Flights Lifted

AMSTERDAM - Ban which was put on flights of Turkish Onur Airlines by the Netherlands, Germany, France and Switzerland was lifted as of tonight.
Following the meeting of Turkish, Dutch, German and Swiss civil aviation authorities as well as European Commission officials, Dutch Civil Aviation Directorate General stated that the ban was lifted as of 09.00 p.m. tonight.
Meanwhile, Turkish Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim told A.A correspondent that their meetings in Moscow yielded good results and flights of Onur Air will start tonight. He added that flights of Onur Air to the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland will begin as of 09.00 p.m.
Yildirim said that when official documents of France will reach to Turkey, flights to this country will also start.
On May 12th, Dutch Transportation Ministry announced that it suspended Onur Air`s flights for one month due to technical shortcomings. Later, Germany, France and Switzerland followed suit.
