Chief Negotiator: Turkey Will Be The Center Of Attention Not Only In The Region Or E.U. But Globally

ANKARA - After having been announced as Turkey's Chief Negotiator, Turkish State Minister Ali Babacan has indicated that Turkey will be the center of attention not only in the region or EU but globally.
''I am happy that Prime Minister Erdogan chose me for the position of Chief Negotiator. There is a long way ahead of us. By working and standing together, we know that an excellent future will be reached by Turkey,'' remarked Babacan.
Asked if he has concerns about assuming a very important second task, Babacan replied that the upcoming process will be one in which the Turkish society's institutes, deputies, and ministers will work closely together.
Babacan did not answer questions on whether or not he will continue working as a state minister in charge of the economy and which country he will visit first as Turkey's Chief Negotiator.
