ISTANBUL (AA) - ''We want Turkish companies to work in Congo,'' said Congolese Minister of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation Ramazani Baya.
     Baya visited Istanbul Trade Chamber (ITO) on Friday.
     Stressing the importance of cooperation between Turkey and Congo, Baya said that it won't be difficult to establish partnership and cooperation.
     Baya said that more than half of African forests is in Congo and Turkey has the required experience and expertise for construction. He called Turkish companies to work in Congo and establish partnership with Congolese companies.
     Baya also said that they aim to open an embassy in Ankara soon.
     He added that trade volume between the two countries is 2 million USD, noting that there is potential to increase this amount.
