Basbug Departs From Baku

BAKU (AA) - Deputy Chief of Turkish General Staff Gen. Ilker Basbug departed from Baku, Azerbaijan on Friday.
     Prior to his departure, Gen. Basbug told reporters, ''an Azerbaijan which is strong in political, military and economy areas and also solves Karabakh problem, is very important for the stability of the region.''
     ''Turkey will continue to support Azerbaijan. We have discussed relations between armies of the two countries during meetings,'' said Gen. Basbug.
     Gen. Basbug noted, ''Turkey and Azerbaijan have the necessary facilities for enhancement of bilateral relations in every area.''
