ANKARA (AA) - Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Deniz Baykal will leave for Israel on Saturday to attend the meeting of the Socialist International (SI) which will be held between May 22nd and 24th.
CHP Headquarters stated on Friday that Baykal, Vice President of SI, will meet Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom on May 22nd.
Baykal will meet Israeli Deputy Premier Shimon Peres on May 23rd and then he will attend meeting of SI Council on ''Social Democrat Vision for Peace in Middle East''.
Baykal will proceed to Ramallah with the other leaders on May 23rd because the meeting will continue in this city. They will attend the reception which will be hosted by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah the same day.
Council meeting will end on May 24th and Baykal will return to Turkey the same day.
