JERUSALEM (AA) - A Turkish plane landed safely at Israel's Ben Gurion International Airport late on Thursday after an emergency was declared since the pilot reported trouble with his landing gear. The plane of a Turkish charter company took off from the Antalya Airport with 294 passengers on board.
A glitch in the plane's computer system caused the problem as the plane was preparing to land at Ben Gurion Airport.
The plane landed safely after air traffic controllers were able to see the plane's landing gear and advised the pilot that all the wheels locked in place normally. (UK)
