ANKARA (AA) - Turkish and Dutch authorities will continue talks on Thursday regarding the ban on flights of privately owned Turkish company Onur Airlines in the Netherlands.
Sources said that talks had started between civil aviation authorities of the Netherlands and Turkey on Monday to solve the problem and officials had decided to hold talks on technical level.
A technical team from Dutch Civil Aviation Agency arrived in Istanbul today and held a meeting with a Turkish technical team at Ataturk Airport.
Experts decided to convey the issues they discussed to their own civil aviation authorities after the meeting.
Meetings will continue tomorrow as well.
Last week, Dutch Transportation Ministry announced that it suspended Onur Air's flights for one month due to technical shortcomings. Later, Germany, France and Switzerland followed suit.
