GAZIANTEP (AA) - ''Turkey and Syria have pledged to enhance their cooperation in tourism during the Turkish-Syria Second Regional Tourism Meeting held in Aleppo'', Turkey's Consul General in Aleppo Hulusi Kilic said today (Wednesday).
     Kilic told A.A correspondent that two countries decided to facilitate border crossings and sea, land and railway transportation, start direct flights between Istanbul and Aleppo, increase physical and functional capacities of customs, establish joint tourism offices, launch promotion campaigns, and exchange experience and expertise. Turkish Tourism Minister Atilla Koc and Syrian Minister of Tourism Sadallah Agha al-Kalaa attended the meeting.
     Two countries also agreed to form a ''Joint Tourism Commission'', said Kilic.
