IZMIR (AA) - Alexey Kudriavtsev, the Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), said on Tuesday that the assembly helped member countries to implement significant projects, and added, ''the Blue Stream Project could not be realized without our activities.''
Members of the Cultural, Educational and Social Affairs Committee of PABSEC visited Izmir Chamber of Commerce (IZTO).
During the meeting, Kudriavtsev said, ''we should discuss issues obstructing cooperation among our countries.''
On the other hand, Mustafa Bas, the head of Turkey delegation of PABSEC, said that trade volume among member countries increased by 3-4 folds thanks to initiatives of PABSEC, and added, ''there is potential to increase this volume by 3-4 times more, and we should work more to make use of this potential.''
