Environment Minister Pepe In Turkmenistan

ASHKABAD (AA) - Turkish Environment & Forestry Minister Osman Pepe was received by the Turkmen President Saparmurad Turkmenbasi today (Tuesday) in Ashkabad.
     Turkmenbasi remarked that the Turkmens are looking for more visits by brotherly Turks. ''Our doors are fully open to our brother and sister Turks of Anatolia,'' indicated Turkmenbasi.
     Turkmenbasi and Pepe attended an opening ceremony of a park said ''Turkmen-Turkish Friendship Park''. The tree seeds were provided by the Turkish Ministry of Environment & Forestry. A total of 25,000 trees of 35 types were planted at the park.
     Pepe will also visit some factories constructed by Turkish businessmen in Turkmenistan before returning to Turkey.
