SOFIA (AA) - Turkish Land Forces Commander Gen. Yasar Buyukanit said on Friday that they aimed to further improve and diversify cooperation between Turkish and Bulgarian land forces.
     Gen. Buyukanit, who is currently paying a two-day visit to Bulgaria upon official invitation of Bulgarian Land Forces Commander Gen. Stoyan Zlatev, met Bulgarian Defense Minister Nikolai Svinarov, General Staff Chief Gen. Nikola Kolev and Gen. Zlatev.
     Measures to be taken to develop cooperation between Turkish and Bulgarian land forces were discussed at the meetings.
     Gen. Buyukanit also held talks with Turkish Ambassador to Bulgaria Haydar Berk.
     Gen. Buyukanit is expected to return to Turkey on Wednesday.
