ANKARA (AA) - Yigit Alpogan, the Secretary General of Turkish National Security Council, will leave for Israel tomorrow (Tuesday) upon the invitation of Giora Eiland, the Director of the Israeli NSC, his office said today (Monday).
Alpogan and Eiland would discuss ways and means to enhance relations and cooperation between the two organizations and exchange views on regional and international developments concerning the two countries, it was indicated.
Alpogan will also meet Amos Yaron, the Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Defense; and E. General Amos Gilad, the head of the Politico-Military Bureau of the Ministry of Defense.
''This visit by NSC Secretary General Alpogan to Israel will be a first step to establish a consultation mechanism and regular talks between the two councils,'' added Alpogan's office.
