ROME - An Italian aid worker with the group CARE International was kidnapped in Kabul Monday, ANSA news agency said quoting the Italian foreign ministry.
The agency said her kidnapping was witnessed by several people.
In Kabul, police said a Canadian woman working for an unspecified non-governmental group was abducted in the capital. It was not immediately known if the kidnappings were actually one and the same event.
