ANKARA (AA) - Italy is among the countries, extending the most concrete support to Turkey in Europe, Italian Ambassador to Turkey Carlo Marsill said on Wednesday.
The Italian Trade Commission held a reception at the Hilton Ankara today.
Speaking in the reception, Marsill recalled that the bilateral trade volume reached 11.5 billion USD by the end of 2004, and said, ''Italy is Turkey's number two partner. Of course, we will become the number one.''
The reception was held as a part of the training seminar for the personnel working in Turkish chambers of commerce and public institutions.
The seminar will be given by Italian experts, and last for two weeks.
The first part of the seminar will be held in Turkish capital of Ankara, and the second in Italian capital of Rome.
