Nato Military Committee's Spring Term Meetings In Brussels

BRUSSELS (AA) - NATO Military Committee's spring term meetings are being held in Brussels.
     Turkish General Staff Chief Gen. Hilmi Ozkok represents Turkey in the meetings.
     During the first session of the meetings, Military Committee of Euro Atlantic Partnership (MC EAP), which is comprised of general staff chiefs of countries cooperating with NATO and members of NATO, convened.
     General Staff Chiefs of NATO member countries then met military representatives of Mediterranean countries. General Staff Chiefs or high-ranking military representatives of Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Mauritania, Morocco and Tunisia attended this meeting.
     General Staff Chiefs discussed cooperation against terrorism, intelligence exchange, joint military exercises, fight against illicit drugs and crime organizations, military reforms and training as well as joint activities for civil defense operations.
