''We must open more oil wells,'' told Basoglu. ''Most of the smuggled oil comes in Turkey with ships or trucks,'' he noted .
TUPRAS General Manager Husamettin Danis has stressed that there is a price difference between energy sources. ''We are witnessing a great amount of tax lost due to LPG,'' told Danis.
TPAO General Manager Osman Saim Dinc has expressed that Turkey will spend 220 billion U.S. dollars for oil and 100 billion U.S. dollars for natural gas in the next 15 years. ''Oil prices will continue to rise in the next few years,'' commented Dinc.
