ANKARA (AA) - Iraqi Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari is expected to visit Ankara in the near future.
     The work on the program of Al-Jaafari in Ankara continues and he can come to Turkey between May 19th-20th.
     Iraqi Prime Minister Al-Jaafari is expected to meet Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul in Ankara. During the visit of Al-Jaafari to Turkey (which he requested), the new process and recent developments in Iraq, Kirkuk and bilateral relations are expected to be discussed.
     Iraqi Prime Minister Al-Jaafari wanted to attend the Iraq's neighboring countries' meeting held in Istanbul last April, but he couldn't come to Turkey due to his busy schedule during the formation of the Iraqi government.
     Al-Jaafari who had called Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan and explained his excuse, had said that he would come to Turkey in the shortest time possible.
