ISTANBUL (AA) - Istanbul police arrested 21 persons in connection with 641 gr. hashish, 226 gr. cocaine and 1726 pills which were seized in eight operations.
Narcotics officials said that all the operations were carried out against street drug dealers and there was one child among those dealers.
Istanbul Police said 140 operations were mounted against street dealers in the first four months of the year. Totally 364 people were arrested and 17.7 kg heroin, 141.8 kg of hashish, 13.5 kg of cocaine, 52,580 ecstasy pills and 2,902 captagon pills were seized in those operations.
