GAZIANTEP (AA) - Turkish Interior Minister Abdulkadir Aksu said on Monday that the Habur border crossing between Turkey and Iraq would be totally renewed.
In an interview with the A.A, Aksu said, ''our government has made foreign trade top priority. However, existing border crossings are inadequate. Therefore, we have decided to renew Habur border crossing, one of the most important border gates. Restoration efforts will start in the coming days.''
''Also, a draft law was submitted to the Council of Ministers in an effort to provide transportation sector with several facilities,'' Aksu added.
