TIRANA (AA) - ''Turk Telekom/Calik Enerji Telekomunikasyon'', a Turkish telecommunication company, bought 76 percent of shares of Albanian telecommunication company ''Albtelekom''.
''Calik Enerji Telekomunikasyon'' won the tender at 120 million Euros.
Slovenian Telekom, Telekom Korean and Samsung of South Korea, and MTC-AL Karafi Group from Egypt were the other companies that joined the tender.
As the Turkish company won the tender, it has gained the right to carry out cell phone activities in Albania.
The remaining 24 percent of Albtelekom's shares belong to the state.
