ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's current account deficit increased by 17.6 percent reaching 2.5 billion USD in March 2005 in comparison with March 2004, the Central Bank of Turkey announced on Friday.
According to the balance of payments developments in January-March 2005 of the Central Bank of Turkey, the current accounts deficit was 2.1 billion USD.
The current account deficit increased by 17.5 percent to 6.3 billion USD during the entire period of January-March 2005.
