Turkish Police Seize 23.9 Kg Heroin In Edirne

EDIRNE (AA) - Turkish police seized 23.9 kilograms of heroin during an operation in northwestern city of Edirne on Friday.
     Sources stated that acting on a tip-off, the police followed two people from Istanbul to Edirne, noting that the police arrested them at Kapikule border pass, confiscating 23.9 kilograms of heroin hidden in secret compartments in their car.
     The heroin was destined to Belgium, sources added.
