ISTANBUL (AA) - A delegation from the Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen Association (TUSIAD) will be visiting the United States between May 9th and 12th where it will meet officials from the U.S. administration, financial circles and high level media representatives.
The TUSIAD delegation will begin its tour in Washington where it will get together with officials from the U.S. Congress and State Department as well as editors from the Washington Post newspaper.
TUSIAD's delegation will later meet American Jewish organizations and the Turkish Caucus (Turkey Support Group in the Congress and Senate).
TUSIAD's delegation will participate in a round table discussion with the American Initiative Institute and organize a conference, titled ''EU-Turkey: Towards Full Membership.''
From Washington, the TUSIAD delegation will head to Boston. The TUSIAD delegation will hold meetings with the ''Eurasia Group'' and ''Merrill Lynch'' financial bodies. TUSIAD delegation will get together with the president of the Harvard University Lawrence H. Summers. TUSIAD CEO Omer Sabanci will deliver a speech at Harvard University in a program organized by the ''Kokkalis Foundation.''
The TUSIAD delegation will go to New York on May 12th and meet representatives from the Business Council for International Understanding and Forbes.
TUSIAD's delegation will get together with the editors of the Wall Street Journal and participate in a luncheon organized by Morgan Stanley financial group.
