ISTANBUL (AA) - ``The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is offering perfect business and investment opportunities for Turkish companies,`` said Sheik Tarek Bin Faysal al-Qasimi, the Chairman of Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority.
Taking the floor at the session on ``Investment Opportunities in Arab Countries`` held as a part of the Turkish-Arab Economy Forum in Turkish commercial hub of Istanbul, al-Qasimi said that UAE did not take taxes, and there was no bureaucracy in their country.
Al-Qaisimi noted that UAE was a center of attraction for investors, and called on Turkish companies to invest in their country.
On the other hand, Yousef Mansour, the Chairman of the Executive Board of Jordan Agency for Enterprise and Investment Development (JAED), said, ``there are 16 Turkish companies investing in Jordan, and they have made 64 million USD of investments in our country.`` He added that he hoped this figure would increase.
The Second Turkish-Arab Economy Forum will be held in Beirut in the second half of 2006.
