ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish State Minister Kursat Tuzmen said on Thursday that Turkey may attract around 10 billion US dollars Arab capital annually if it can organize itself well. Replying to questions of reporters during Turkish-Arab Business Forum, Tuzmen said countries should increase their gross national product and national income per capita to ensure peace and stability.
''Trade and investment is a solution for this. We will enrich altogether when we increase mutual investments and trade relations,'' Tuzmen noted.
Stating that Arab countries have 20 billion US dollars trade volume between them, Tuzmen said he estimated this figure to amount to 24-25 billion US dollars in 2005.
Tuzmen indicated that leading companies of the world invest actually in Turkey, adding that, ''the number of those companies will increase gradually.''
