I.M.F. Executive Board To Convene On May 11th

ANKARA (AA) - International Monetary Fund (IMF) Executive Board will convene on May 11th to study Turkish dossier.
     During the meeting, IMF Executive Board is expected to approve a three-year Stand-by deal between Turkey and IMF.
     Meanwhile, Turkish State Minister Ali Babacan for Economy said in an interview with the `Emerging Markets Magazine` that the three-year agreement would be the last Stand-by deal with IMF.
     Noting that the deal would end in May 2008, Babacan said that Turkey would maintain its relations with IMF, but would not need financial assistance of IMF any longer.
