PARIS (AA) - Joint natural gas pipeline project, planned to be constructed between Turkey and Greece, was discussed during Organization for Economic Cooperation & Development (OECD) Ministerial Council meeting on Tuesday.
The issue was discussed during the meeting of Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler with Greek Minister of Development Demetris Sioufas in Paris.
Parties also discussed Southeastern Europe Energy Agreement and connection of power lines.
Guler, who also replied to the questions of reporters, stated that Turkey should maintain its energy infrastructure investments in the coming 20 years.
He said Turkey should make energy infrastructure investments worth of three billion USD every year.
Stating that Turkey would not have energy shortage till the year 2009, Guler said nevertheless energy infrastructure investments should be maintained to be in the same level as the EU countries.
Following the meetings, Guler left Paris for Turkey.
