Erdogan Visits Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum

''GENOCIDE IS THE MOST MONSTROUS CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY''

JERUSALEM - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday, ''genocide is the most monstrous crime against humanity.''
Prime Minister Erdogan, who is currently paying a state visit to Israel, visited the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum, which was established in the memory of millions of Jewish people who were killed in Nazi Germany's concentration and extermination camps during the World War II.
Later, Erdogan signed the special book of the museum and he wrote, ''genocide is the most monstrous crime against humanity. We hope that the humanity would never experience another genocide again. Turkish people have always lived together with Jewish people in peace, affection and understanding for centuries. Our friendly relations with Jewish people will continue in the future. We will never make concessions against racism. On the contrary, we are determined to fight against it. I am standing in front of memories of thousands of victims of the Holocaust with a great respect on behalf of all Turkish people.''
