BAGHDAD - Iraqi leaders reached an accord Monday to allocate six ministerial posts and a deputy premiership in Prime Minister Ibrahim Jaafari's government to Sunni Arabs, a Sunni MP told AFP.
"We have reached an agreement with (Jaafari's) United Iraqi Alliance on the names of six ministers and a deputy prime minister," Mishaan al-Juburi said.
Jaafari announced a partial line-up last Thursday, after several weeks of political haggling, but several key posts were left vacant and Sunni leaders complained of under-representation.
The complete line-up is expected to be submitted for parliamentary approval on Tuesday.
