Gul Calls on Islamic World to Make Reforms

Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul called on Muslim countries to make reforms. Minister Gul said: "Reform is not about Islam or religion. It is about the administrations of Muslim societies."

Minister Gul pointed out that the subject should be approached with self-confidence, and open- mindedness, without any complexes. "If we do not put our house in order, in today's world, someone else will do it, " Minister Gul said.

Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul attended the "International Islamic World Non-Governmental Organizations Conference" and made a speech. Minister Gul pointed to the necessity of reform in Islamic countries in the conference where 130 non-governmental organizations from 50 countries attended.
