ISTANBUL - An Easter ceremony has been organized at the Haghia Yorgi Church in courtyard of the Fener Greek Orthodox Patriarchate today (Sunday) to celebrate the revival of Jesus.
The ceremony was directed by Patriarch Bartholomeos.Prayers were made in different languages, including Turkish. At the end of the ceremony, Bartholomeos presented his guests with red colored eggs.
Meanwhile, in Kirklar Church of Mardin, a special ceremony was held to mark Easter. Mardin's Governor Temel Kocaklar indicated that the Turkish society will continue on the path of multi-culturalism until eternity.
