IGDIR - 50 illegal migrants have been arrested in the Turkish city of Igdir yesterday (Saturday).
According to the Igdir Governor's Office, a truck driven by B.A. was stopped at the Tuzluca town of Igdir after a telephone tip-off.
30 Pakistanis, 20 Bangladesh citizens and 10 Afghani individuals were arrested.
In Foca, Izmir, Turkish security officials stopped a boat carrying illegal migrants. 7 Somalians, 5 Algerians, 2 Mauritians and 1 Palestinian were arrested while trying to leave Turkey illegally.
Meanwhile, in Caldiran town of Van, Turkish security officers arrested 49 individuals who illegally entered Turkey. Out of the 49 arrested 28 were Pakistanis, 8 Afghani citizens and 13 from Bangladesh.
All of the illegal migrants will be deported after legal procedures.
