State Minister Tuzmen Due To Iran

ANKARA - Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen will leave for Iran today (Saturday) to attend opening of Silk Road Train Fair.
Tuzmen who will be accompanied by 150 businessmen will also hold official meetings in Tehran as well as meetings with Iranian and Turkish businessmen.
He will depart from Iran on May 3rd to attend Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) meeting in Paris.
Silk Road Turkish Export Products Fair set off from Istanbul on April 23rd to promote Turkey and Turkish products in 7 countries including Iran, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, on a railway of 10,560 kilometers, within 38 days.
The fair aims to revive the Silk Road, one of the most important trade routes of the past, and to further improve commercial and cultural relations between regional countries.
