ANKARA - U.S. State Department Assistant Secretary for European & Eurasian Affairs Laura Kennedy will visit Ankara next week for a series of meetings.
Kennedy will be visiting Turkey between May 2nd and 4th within the scope of a regional tour.
Kennedy is expected to meet Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ali Tuygan, deputy Undersecretary Ertugrul Apakan and National Security Council Secretary General Yigit Alpogan.
U.S. State Department spokesman Adam Ereli earlier said Kennedy will go on a tour which will include Ankara, Athens, Lefkosa, Brussels and London. Ereli explained the aim of the visit as having consultations with the related parties to find a solution to Cyprus question and to discuss bilateral issues.
