Turkey & Syria Decide To Open Another Border Pass

SANLIURFA - ''Turkey and Syria agreed to open a new border pass in Akcakale town of (Turkish southeastern city of) Sanliurfa till the end of this year'', Sezai Ucarmak, director general of Customs, said on Wednesday.
Customs officials of Turkey and Syria met in Sanliurfa.
After the meeting, Ucarmak said that both Turkish and Syrian customs officials would do their best to open a new border pass in Akcakale, while Syrian Customs Director General Basel Omar Sannufa said that they aimed to eliminate deficiencies at the border crossings as soon as possible.
