ANKARA - Italian UniCredito Group, partner of Turkish Koc Financial Services, assessed Turkish economy in an analysis.
UniCredito stated that the category of Turkish economy turned into an ''economy approaching EU'' from a ''developing economy''.
Structural transformation in economy, which is fulfilled within the scope of EU and International Monetary Fund (IMF) reforms, makes Turkey closer to the EU together with other EU candidates, said UniCredito.

Recalling that Turkey agreed with IMF about a new Stand-by, UniCredito stated that Turkey will repay 2 billion USD to IMF in May and first tranche of loan worth of 10 billion USD will be released in the same month, and this will comfort Turkish Treasury.
