Sahin: China Will Win Most Medals In 2008 Olympic Games

BEIJING - Turkish State Minister & Deputy Premier Mehmet Ali Sahin said, ''China will win the highest number of medals in Olympic Games which will be held in Beijing in 2008.''
''There is a great progress in China. China ranked the 4th in 1996, 3rd in 2000 and 2nd in 2004 in medals list,'' added Sahin.
Sahin arrived in China on Sunday for official meetings.
He told reporters, ''cooperation between Turkey and China continues in every area. There is a cooperation in public management and personnel issues as well.''
''China is getting prepared for 2008 Beijing Olympic Games very seriously and it started to implement projects for the Games,'' he said.
Sahin will also meet Chinese Personnel Minister Zhang Bolin today.
