CANAKKALE - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, British Crown Prince Charles, Australian Prime Minister John Howard, and New Zealander Prime Minister Helen Clark will attend the ceremonies to mark the 90th anniversary of Land Battle of Canakkale.
Preparations are under way in Gelibolu (Gallipoli) Peninsula for the ceremonies which will start tomorrow (Sunday) and last for two days.
Soldiers who lost their lives in the battle will be commemorated by several activities to be held in Canakkale Martyrs Memorial, 57th Regiment Martyrdom, Conk Bayiri, French and British monuments, and Anzac Cape.
