ANKARA - The High Tribunal adjourned the hearing in which Husamettin Ozkan, former state minister and deputy prime minister, and Recep Onal, former state minister, are being tried on charges of abusing their powers, till May 24th.
Five people including former state minister Gunes Taner will be listened as witness in the next hearing.
Both Ozkan and Onal are accused of alleged irregularities and abusing powers by implementing wrong and illegal policies that caused the state to lose money.
The two politicians could face 10 years in prison if convicted.
