ANKARA - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday that AKP deputy Cemal Kaya's resignation from deputyship was a right and honorable act.
Responding to questions of journalists about Kaya's resignation, Erdogan said that ''this is his own decision. In my opinion, his resignation is a very right and honorable behavior. He has assumed an honorable attitude against the recent negative approach of Mr. Baykal.''
Noting that the party has not evaluated the situation yet, Erdogan said that ''we'll determine our party policy after making an evaluation.''
