Fire Burns 80 Village Houses In Corum

CORUM - A huge fire destroyed 80 houses in Saraycik village of Kargi town in central Anatolian city of Corum on Monday.
Corum Governor Huseyin Poroy told the A.A that the fire started in a wooden house in Saraycik village at noon and later spread to other houses, burning 80 houses in the village.
''The fire also spread to forested area surrounding the village but it was contained,'' he added.
Red Crescent team in Ankara sent tents, blankets and food to the villagers.
