SIRNAK - Security forces killed 21 terrorists in an operation launched against the terrorist organisation PKK between Pervari town of Siirt and Eruh town of Sýrnak in southeastern Turkey on Thursday.
MANY WEAPONS AND AMMUNITION ALSO SEIZED IN OPERATION
Many weapons and ammunition belonging to the terrorist organisation PKK were seized in the operation.
Sirnak Governor's Office said in a written statement the same day that 21 terorists were killed and three security officers and one temporary village guard died in the clash that erupted when terrorists opened fire against the security forces during the operations which started on April 12th. Governor's Office noted that many weapons and ammunition belonging to the terrorist organisation were also found on the terrorists and in caves and terrorist shelters in the same region, adding that the operations were underway.
