ISTANBUL - Turkey's first cruise ship ''MSC Opera'' will begin its first trip on April 27th, 2005.
''MSC Cruises Turkiye'', the owner of ''MSC Opera'', announced on Thursday that it will have tours from Istanbul to the Mediterranean every Wednesday. MSC Opera has a passenger capacity of 2,500 people.
MSC Opera will visit ports in Croatia (Dubrovnik), Italy (Venice, Bari), Greece (Katakolon) and Turkey (Kusadasi, Istanbul). The ship offers several restaurants representing Mediterranean cuisine. The ship also has a theatre, casino, bars, cafes, shops, health and sports centers, sauna, children's club and suits with balconies.
MSC Cruises Turkiye will hold a press conference on April 27th to introduce its newest ship.
MSC Cruises Turkiye is a firm established by the Italian MSC and Turkish Arkas Holding. The ship MSC Opera will continue its trip for a week.
