Tuzmen visits 'Turks' exhibition in London

LONDON - Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen visited the exhibition ``Turks: A Journey of a Thousand Years, 600-1600`` in London on Saturday.
Speaking to reporters, Tuzmen said, ``Turks exhibition is an important organization which will promote Turkey.``
``Turkey could not follow foreign trade activities in the world until 1980s, but then we started to catch market dynamics. Turkish industry achieved to present different products, catch sophisticated consumption preferences and make original products. This is very important for being a trademark,`` he added.
The exhibition ``Turks: A Journey of a Thousand Years, 600-1600`` is displayed at Royal Academy of Arts and nearly 220,000 people have visited the exhibition so far.
Tuzmen will return to Turkey tomorrow.
