At least four dead in steel mill accident in Austria

VIENNA - At least four people died in an explosion on Friday at a steel mill in Austria, police said.
"A leak of molten steel killed three or four people and wounded several seriously," Gendarmerie spokesman Gerhard Kogler told state television ORF 2.
The Gendarmerie later confirmed that there were four dead, with one seriously injured person having died while being taken to hospital.
There were also two seriously injured people and two to three slightly injured, the Gendarmerie said.
The cause of the explosion, at a plant belonging to the Boehler-Uddeholm firm in Kapfenberg in southeastern Austria, was not known.
Boehler-Uddeholm is the world leader in making special-use steel. The firm has 10,100 workers, of whom 3,850 are employed in Austria.
