ISTANBUL - State Minister Ali Babacan said on Wednesday that economic and political stability had been ensured in Turkey due to the reforms and regulations undertaken in the past three years.
Addressing the dinner held upon the opening of Dubai Islamic Bank's representation to Turkey, Babacan said that commercial relations between Turkey and United Arab Emirates (UAE) developed and there were very intense contacts between the businessmen of the two countries. Dubai Islamic Bank would undertake the mission of bridge in commercial and economic relations between the two countries, Babacan remarked.
UAE Minister of Transportation and Communications and Dubai Islamic Bank's deputy president Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri said in his part that the relations between UAE and Turkey would further consolidate by the opening of the Bank's representation in Turkey.
Stressing that the Turkish economy showed a great growth potential, Al Mansouri said that the Bank wanted to contribute significantly to the Turkish economy.
